“We wanted to learn how to play ‘real’ padel in Spain, not the ‘tennis-padel’ style that is more common in Belgium. So, during our stay in Marbella, we decided to take padel courses that focused on positioning and tactics. We chose Topadel because they seemed professional and attentive, and we were delighted with the service they provided. After discussing our goals and objectives, Thibault recommended that we work with German, a padel coach in Marbella. And I must say, he is what you call a ‘TopCoach’!
He listened to our goals and how we felt during the learning process. He was able to pinpoint our weaknesses and work on them for both my husband and me. His professionalism was incredible. We had two 1.5-hour courses each day for four days, and he really helped us improve. I was concerned about applying what I learned in actual matches, but German SCHAFER wasn’t afraid to get on the court with us and play mini-matches, much to our delight!
His advice and phrases still resonate with us in every match: ‘Check your grip !’, ‘Don’t hit but touch the ball !’, ‘Prepare early !’… German is someone who is available, open, always smiling, and adapts to you to take you further.
