“I recently participated in an 8-day padel camp in Malaga in Spain at the José Solano Academy, and it was a fantastic experience. Here is a detailed account of my stay :
Coaching : I was fortunate to train under the guidance of Pau, a young padel coach in Malaga who is both highly talented and fluent in English, with an excellent teaching style. His ability to explain techniques clearly and provide constructive feedback significantly improved my game.
Atmosphere : The atmosphere at the academy was very friendly. People always greeted each other and offered mutual encouragement, creating a supportive and welcoming environment.
Training Program : Training sessions took place every morning, and towards the end of the camp, I had scheduled matches in the afternoons. This structure allowed for intensive skill development and practical application during matches. I appreciated the balance between exercise sessions and actual play.
Club : The padel center, located less than 10 minutes from the center of Malaga, Inacua Racket Center, is well-equipped with a cafeteria and showers. However, the courts themselves are quite worn and need maintenance. Despite this, the overall experience remained positive thanks to the quality of the coaching and the supportive atmosphere.
Additional Highlights : One of the highlights of my stay at the academy was seeing renowned padel players like José Solano, Tolito Aguirre, and Miguel Lamperti train at the club. It was inspiring and motivating to watch these professionals up close.
Conclusion : I will definitely return for another camp at the José Solano Academy. I loved the place, the people, and the invaluable lessons I learned about technique and tactics. Thank you to Topadel for this unforgettable experience.”
