WHO IS JÉSUS (ALSO KNOWN AS XULE), A PADEL COACH IN THE MADRID REGION
Xule (pronounced ‘chou-lé’) discovered padel while pursuing his higher education in physical education. It’s been 22 years since he fell in love with this sport, which is both fun and has the ability to captivate and excite everyone who tries it. It has a strong social dimension, bringing players together during and after matches. From that moment on, he began training, competing, and striving to improve in all aspects of padel, both in the game itself and in teaching, as his studies destined him to make a career in sports.
He is a coach with extensive experience in padel and is also very attentive to the physical preparation of padel players, especially as physical conditioning becomes increasingly important as one advances in this sport. Professional players understand this well, spending nearly half or more of their time in the gym rather than on a padel court.
THE KEYS TO BEING A GOOD PADEL PLAYER ACCORDING TO XULE, A PADEL COACH IN MADRID
The main key is to be ready to learn and work hard. Have an open mind for the specific culture of this game, which is different from other racket sports with its own unique codes. Having some talent with the racket obviously helps, but the most important thing when playing padel is to make good decisions, avoid mistakes, be patient, and not rush. These principles will be reflected in the padel lessons and exercises offered to Topadel’s trainees by Xule in Madrid.
XULE’S VISION OF LEARNING PADEL
He is very methodical: he believes that good progress is made step by step so that the body can mechanize the strokes while adapting to the student’s level. He will encourage the player to think about why they should improve their technique and positioning, providing them with numerous tools to continue progressing on their own after the padel training camp, such as tips and exercises.
If you choose to do your padel training camp in Madrid, he will have three objectives:
- Learn new things
- Stay active and physically engaged
- fun
WHY CHOOSE XULE FOR YOUR PADEL LESSONS IN MADRID?
“My life revolves around padel. I love teaching, and I never hold back. I give my all in each of my lessons. I’ve been teaching for 17 years, and I’ve trained individuals who have turned professional (Sergio Alba, Pedro García Consuegra, Victor Mena), professional players who still compete on the WPT and have been world champions with Spain (Alba Galán and Bárbara Las Heras), as well as juniors who are champions of Spain and Europe (Izan Ranera, Águeda Pérez, etc.).”
Xule’s experience is extensive, and he has worked with all types of students, including amateur players.
ADVICE FROM OUR PADEL COACH IN MADRID
“My advice to every player is to always keep the joy of playing, to enjoy the sport and everything that comes with it. However, for a player who wants to strive for a professional career, they will need to be prepared to endure and invest 100%, which may require setting aside other aspects of their life to dedicate themselves to padel fully. Because if they commit only 50%, then they shouldn’t aim to become a professional but rather appreciate the sport in a different way, which, in my opinion, is also a good choice!”
