Andoni, our padel coach in Bilbao, first made a name for himself as a player. He won the title of Spanish Champion, was ranked #1 in Spain, and became World Champion in all categories he competed in. At just 15 years old, he was the youngest player to ever reach the final draw of the Pro Padel Tour (the former name of the professional padel circuit, later renamed World Padel Tour and now called Premier Padel). By the age of 20, Andoni had reached the Top 25 of the WPT, marking his highest professional ranking. His professional career lasted from 16 to 24 years old, but was cut short due to injuries, leading him to transition into coaching padel players.

How Does Andoni Bardasco Structure His Padel Training to Help Students Improve?

After retiring as a player, Andoni decided to launch a padel academy in 2022, specializing in padel training camps in Bilbao and professional coach education programs.

Training Format

• To progress, Andoni recommends two training sessions per day, lasting 1.5 to 2 hours each.
• A full training day consists of 3 to 4 hours of padel practice.
• If students wish to play more, additional match sessions can be organized (court rental fees not included in the training package).
• At least 50% of the sessions are conducted with the Head Coach of the Bilbao Academy, while the remaining sessions are supervised by Andoni’s assistants to help students apply what they have learned.
• Customization is possible :
  ○ Students can opt for one session per day instead of two.
  ○ A 100% private training program with Andoni is available at an additional cost.
  ○ Video analysis and personalized feedback can be provided during the training camp.
