HOW DO THE FORMULAS AND PRICES OF PADEL LESSONS WORK ?
It is complicated to provide a table with all the prices and formulas for our padel courses and internships. We offer tailor-made options in more than 15 cities/centers in Spain, with over 50 padel coaches who have varying rates. Furthermore, the prices can vary depending on the number of players present on the court, resulting in thousands of possible combinations !
On our website, padel coaches have the freedom to set their own prices. However, any price differences are not indicative of the quality of the courses you will receive. Often, the price variation is linked to the location of the internship, particularly in Spain, where padel coaches can be more expensive in cities with a strong “Padel tourism” presence. In these cities, the best coaches may work with local high-level players, but they generally prioritize foreign clientele, particularly from Europe or the Arabian Peninsula, which is more lucrative for them.
In certain highly sought-after locations like Barcelona, the prices for excellent coaches have soared over the years due to the global growth of Padel. Foreign clients, just like our own customers, seek out the most experienced coaches, those who have that “something extra.” Consequently, the prices in these cities are no longer the historical rates paid by Spaniards (who, apart from professionals, are becoming rarer in employing the services of these renowned coaches).
With all this in mind, at ToPadel, our mission will always be to connect you with coaches selected for their top qualities, including experience, pedagogical expertise, language proficiency to facilitate communication, and dedication to the courses they provide. Whether they are professional coaches or not, these criteria are essential for being part of the ToPadel network. In this way, we believe we contribute to the learning and development of the game’s culture in the countries where we operate. The reviews from students (on Google or our website) who have trained with ToPadel attest to our expertise !
In summary, for courses of the same teaching quality, the prices of a padel camp are often directly related to the geographical area where the courses take place !
THE PRICES OF PADEL CAMP IN SPAIN
In Spain, to simplify, we can consider 2 types of markets :
PALMA, BARCELONE OU MARBELLA : THE SAFE BETS, SOUGHT AFTER BY FOREIGN CLIENTELE, AND THUS MORE EXPENSIVE
- Marbella is simply linked to the cost of living in this “Spanish Monaco,” and padel at the “Top” is no exception: the best coaches have a wealthy clientele that drives prices up. It is a place where you can find magnificent luxurious facilities and high-quality coaches to meet the demands of a sometimes more discerning clientele than elsewhere! The level of English spoken there is often very good, as the language is regularly used on-site.
- Palma de Mallorca is a highly touristic island. The foreign clientele has also driven up local prices (restaurants, hotels, etc.). Padel sessions with coaches who are renowned on the island are not exempt from this, even if they might not reach the standards of Marbella or Barcelona.
- Barcelona has become THE preferred destination for foreigners passionate about Padel: it is the number one choice for Padel players coming from Qatar, Sweden, the Netherlands, Italy, or France! If we were to caricature the most probable reason: it’s the place with the highest density of players and coaches in Spain, second only to Madrid… But it also has the advantage of a beach, which makes it more appealing to foreigners! Over the years, the best coaches there have adjusted their rates and remain in high demand.
You can expect a general price of around €60 per hour (up to €75 in Marbella, or even €100 in Barcelona for an academy with professional players) for individual sessions. When multiple players participate, the cost per person will decrease, but you can expect at least €75/hour for two players, for example, in Majorca. Please note that these are only indicators! It is advisable to check the profiles of our coaches or contact us to know the exact prices.
SEVILLE, ALICANTE, ALCALA DE HÉNARES (MADRID), TORRE DEL MAR, MALAGA : THE GOOD DEALS TO EXPLORE !
In these cities, the price for 1 hour of padel coaching ranges from €35 to €45 for individual sessions. Elda, located 25 minutes from Alicante, offers the most affordable option among the cities on our website, and in Seville, the hourly rate becomes more economical for groups of 2 or more people. For those seeking coaching from a World Padel Tour (WPT) coach or a professional academy, Valencia is an option to consider, offering a rate of €55 per hour for top-notch training at a reasonable price.
If you plan to go for a weekend, keep in mind that many coaches are renowned and in high demand locally throughout the week, leading them to have Sundays off in Spain. Sometimes, even the clubs close on Sunday afternoons. However, if you only have the weekend to spare, you can opt for Torre del Mar, for instance, where you’ll find a coach available throughout the weekend without any issues. In Seville, it’s also possible with an additional cost.
It is for all these reasons and specificities of the coach(es) on-site that we recommend you to contact us after gathering all the necessary information on this page, in order to choose the cities that interest you the most.
And if you need advice, simply indicate “I’m not sure yet” in the corresponding field. The teams at ToPadel.eu will be delighted to guide you regarding the prices of our padel internships and the regions you wish to explore !
TAKING INTO ACCOUNT ALL THE FACTORS THAT DETERMINE THE PRICE OF A PADEL TRIP IN SPAIN
Whether you are playing padel in Spain, it’s essential not to focus solely on the price of padel lessons or the coach. You must also take into account :
Transportation expenses :
Whether it’s by plane, train, or car, consider tolls and potential extra baggage fees, even though we assure you that your padel racket can fit in your cabin luggage!
Hotel accommodation costs :
These rates can vary depending on your desired comfort level. Access to amenities like a pool and spa can be beneficial for physical recovery during your padel training.
Food budget :
Especially if you prefer not to cook and plan to dine at various restaurants during your stay.
Car rental prices :
Keep in mind that high-quality Padel clubs in Spain are generally not located in city centers. They require ample space and height, so it is rare for a hyper-central location to offer ideal conditions for playing padel. A rental car allows you to move between clubs, hotels, and city centers efficiently. Using public transportation could consume a lot of time, especially if you have two sessions per day. Therefore, a car is essential in most cases, except for certain exceptions like Seville, where we have an academy in the hyper-center, which is perfect for those without a driver’s license or those who prefer not to use a car during their vacation.
Therefore, it will be important to consider the overall cost of your padel trip !
Because padel lessons are not the most significant budget item during your stay !
ToPadel.eu is not a travel agent but an intermediary, a padel expert, who will connect you with the best coaches. We will also help you build the perfect Padel program for your stay, tailored to your schedule and duration of your presence on-site. Please note that our website does not organize your travel regarding transportation, accommodation, or dining. However, we will gladly offer advice on hotels or local recommendations with great pleasure !
