WHO IS NACHO PEREZ, PADEL COACH IN SEVILLE?
A physical education teacher with 25 years of experience as a padel instructor, Ignacio, nicknamed ‘Nacho,’ has worked in various padel clubs throughout Andalusia in southern Spain. He has been a padel coach in the provinces of Seville, Huelva, and Granada. His dedication, interest in his students, accessibility, and a deep understanding of players’ psychology are his greatest qualities as a padel instructor. His passion for teaching will undoubtedly be a key factor in the success of your padel camp in Seville.
For Nacho, the most important thing is to give each student what they are looking for at any given moment. Some players value the social aspect of the game and just want to have a good time. Others are focused on getting exercise and staying active. Some players are deeply interested in the technical and tactical aspects of the game. Finally, there are those who are solely concerned with winning their matches, regardless of how they achieve it, and aim to reach their highest level of play. Whether they are women, men, children, or adults, one of Nacho’s strengths is his ability to understand these preferences and tailor a padel camp that meets your personal expectations.
WHAT MAKES A GOOD PADEL CAMP THAT WILL HELP YOU IMPROVE?
According to Nacho PEREZ, your coach in Seville, to make significant progress and improve your level, you must work hard, enjoy the sport so that you can put all your passion into every ball and every shot you make. Otherwise, there’s a phrase dear to Nacho that perfectly sums up how to improve your level of play: ‘There’s no better offense than having a good defense.’
Nacho will guide you to work both technically and tactically. The physical aspect of the sport can also be addressed to prepare you well for your matches. In terms of lessons, he will start with the most generic and straightforward aspects that will quickly change your game, gradually progressing to the finer details and more complex elements. However, in general, the work should begin with the back of the court and end with net attacks. From defense to offense. Nacho applies this approach to all his students, whether they are 5 or 75 years old. Regardless of their level, he can assist players at any skill level and cater to a wide range of goals. His only objective is to ensure you leave your padel lessons feeling satisfied, having achieved your objectives!
NACHO’S ADVICE FOR BEGINNER AND EXPERIENCED PLAYERS
“My advice for a beginner player is, first and foremost, to enjoy, have fun playing easily and safely. Let them feel that they are doing their best with each shot and, therefore, derive pleasure from being on the court.
For an experienced player, there are some constants: enjoy on the court and remain passionate, play simply, and once again, feel that they are giving their best with each shot. However, we will address other dimensions beyond working on technique and tactics, which should always be improved. But the following dimensions come into play: physical preparation, mental preparation, and nutrition, to know how to give your best.”
WHO ARE OUR PADEL COACH’S FAVORITE PROFESSIONAL PADEL PLAYERS?
“My favorite male padel players are Juan Martín Díaz for his professionalism, personal qualities, and magic on the court. Also, Matías Díaz for his determination, tireless playing style, dedication, and strong defense. As for female players, Paula Eyheraguibel for her eternal battle and outstanding defensive skills, as well as her personal qualities off the court! Also, Carolina Navarro for her excellent technical skills and being a tireless fighter.”
